Lemlem Lemma Anjulo

Lemlem Lemma Anjulo was born in Wolayitta Soddo, Ethiopia on January 14, 1979, the eldest child of Lemma Anjulo and Aynalem Hidoto. She graduated from Wolayitta Soddo Comprehensive High School and went on to receive an Associate’s degree in chemistry from Awassa Teacher’s Training College in 1998. She taught chemistry to 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students at Lante High School in Semien Omo, and later at Yemane Birhan Primary School in Addis Ababa. She was married to Altaye Alaro Alambo in October of 1999 in Wolayitta, Soddo. She and her new family arrived in the United States in 2006, after which she spent several years in childcare at the Salvation Army. From 2010 to 2020, she worked as a Surgical Technician. In 2021, she earned a diploma in Practical Nursing. She is survived by her husband and five children- Zerubabel (b. 2001), Biniam, (b. 2002) Misgana (b. 2006), Ashley (b. 2011) and Hannah (b. 2016).

A visitation will be held Wednesday March 23rd, 2022 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Parkwood Church 7900 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Following the visitation a graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM in Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main Street Jacksonville, Florida 32206.
