Alice DeLoach, 89, of Jacksonville passed away March 4, 2019.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 70 years, teaching at Main Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. Alice loved Jesus and served him all her life.
Her life was exemplified by the following verse:
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.”-Matthew 5:16
She is preceded in death by her parents Hardee & Alice Lacy and sister Amelia Ann Lacy.
Survivors include her husband Leo DeLoach, daughter Donna (Richard) Powell, grand daughter Lauren (Brandon) Hays, great grandchildren Carolina-Tate & Haddon Hays.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Alice’s caregivers Catina Bryant and Carolyn Palmer.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church or Community Hospice of North Florida.
Funeral Service will be 3 PM Friday March 8, 2019 in Evergreen Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.

Your precious Mother was so sweet and wonderful. You are a daughter who showed her great love and attention just as she did to you. You will see her in heaven but will miss her greatly until that great reunion day. We love you and your family. Kay and David Blankenship
