Amanda Turner Crouch Pinter died at the age of 48, in Jacksonville, FL, on Thursday, December 15th 2022. This marked her 7-year valiant battle with familial idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
She was preceded in death by her mother Stuart Pruden Smith Moriarty of Jacksonville, FL and Asheville, NC, and her father Rufus Turner Crouch of St. Augustine and Gainesville, Fl.
Amanda was born March 13, 1974 in Raleigh, NC. She graduated from St. Augustine High School. Amanda then attended Jacksonville University, graduating in the top ten percent of her class. A life-long Episcopalian, she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Augustine, Fl.
Amanda was a hardworking, loving sister, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son Jonathan Brian Alexander and her two daughters Sarah Elizabeth Smith and Rachel Leigh Smith, all of St. Augustine; her identical twin sister Mary Stuart Cleary of St. Augustine; her brother Terence B. Crouch of Washington, D.C.; her nephew Christian D. Bradley and nieces Danielle and Hannah Cleary, all of St. Augustine; by her grandchildren Levi, Georgia, Paisley, Jonny and Beau; and by numerous cousins across Florida and North Carolina.
She leaves behind many other family members and friends throughout her community and in North Carolina who will miss her love and her laughter.
A graveside Episcopal service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 20th at the Garner family plot in Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL.
