Carolyn M. Shortridge, 82, of Jacksonville, passed away December 28, 2018.
She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shortridge and son, Kenneth Shortridge.
Survivors include 2 sons, Joey Shortridge (wife, Carrie) and Rusty Shortridge (wife, Barbara); 2 daughters, Debbie Miller (husband, Billy) & Sandy Boyd (husband, Steve); sister, Elaine Bernier; 5 grandchildren, Joey, Trina (husband, Jason), Brittany, Jessica & Jennifer (husband, Kevin); 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at The River at Jacksonville Church, 1820 Monument Road, Jacksonville with Pastor Phil Ward and Pastor Fred Peloso officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jacksonville Humane Society (jaxhumane.org). Arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory.

I’ll always remember cousin Carolyn as such a sweet person! Hate to hear she’s passed.

Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Carolyn has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised.
