Donna Mae Jannelli

Donna Mae Jannelli (Gabel) was born on May 29th, 1957, to Martin and Lena (Werlinger) Gabel in Bismarck, North Dakota.

She attended St. Mary’s High School where she earned her high school diploma.

Donna got a job at the armed forces recruiting office in 1976 where she met the love of her life Doug. They were married in 1977. Donna moved with her family to Jacksonville in 1988 where they raised their three children. Donna was known for her kindness and compassion for others. She would do anything for anyone in need. She was a loving mother; however, she will be remembered for her great cooking, especially lasagna. She would always tell you there was a secret ingredient you couldn’t know about until you were ready to make it yourself. Then you were told you better not give away her secrets. She was also known for her great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. She will be missed dearly.

She leaves behind her husband Doug,  son Chad Gabel (Martha); daughter Angela Kinchen (Tracy); grandchildren Breana (Angela), Sebastian and Victoria (Chad). Brothers and sisters; Janice Mosset, Des Moines, IA; sister-in-law Fran Gabel (Rusty), Reynolds, IA; Mary Dirk, Bismarck, ND; Irene McCoy, Memphis, MO; Dotty Simes, Bismarck, ND; Lorraine Kohler (Jeff), Bismarck, ND; Jim Gabel Bismarck, ND; Randy Gabel Duluth, MN; Aunt Aggie Dressler (Washington state) and lots of nieces and nephews.

Donna will meet again with; her beloved son Joseph Jannelli, her father Martin, mother Lena, siblings Rusty, Francis Helen, Robert, Richard, and Emmajean Biegler (Rinehart).

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Thursday, July 21st at 10am at 4535 Main St. Jacksonville, FL 32206 followed by a burial service at Jacksonville National Cemetery on 4083 Lannie RD Jacksonville, FL 32218
