Elizabeth Ida Rowe Carey, 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, went to be with our Lord on December 25th, 2018.
Elizabeth was born in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. She worked for decades as a package clerk. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Rowe Felts and Clayton Rowe, sister, Gladys Thomas, brother, J.E. Rowe.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Sam) Marsh, son, Frank Carey Jr., grandchildren Sam
(Krystal) Marsh, Jacie (Andy) Booze, Ashley (Cory) Bowling, Travis Russell, Shane (Jackie) Carey, great grandchildren Haley, Cameron, Allie, Kelsey, Brylenn, Lil Sam, Avery, Brantley and one on the way, sisters Betty Rimmer and Hilda Bennett, aunt Zeta Patterson, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Friday December 28, 2018 in Evergreen Chapel. A visitation will be held in the chapel one hour prior to the service.
Friends and family are welcome to join the family for a luncheon in Elizabeth’s honor at the Moose Lodge, 9703 Lem Turner Road, Jax, Fl 32208.
