Eric Scott Colson, 36, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away suddenly on July 12, 2023. Eric was born on March 3, 1987 to Kelly (Scotty) Colson of Jacksonville, Florida and Janie Pollman of Alma, Georgia.
Eric was a car enthusiast, loving all things fast. He was committed to his craft in mechanical repairs and spent countless hours perfecting the very thing he loved. He always had a project going, many with the help of his family or buddies and others with his work family at Brubaker Performance. Eric was a hardworking, selfless, and caring man who dedicated his time to helping those he could.
If Eric wasn’t at the shop, he was at home with his family. Eric was the best daddy to the most amazing kids, Seth (12), Jacob (7), and Alice (6). He devoted his life to their happiness and wellbeing, cherishing the very ground they walked on. Eric was also the best partner to longtime girlfriend Abby Greentree, whom he shared an unwavering and undeniable love story with.
Eric leaves behind a village of people who love him. His father Scotty Colson, his mother Janie Pollman, his step-father Mark Pollman, children Seth, Jacob and Alice Colson, his girlfriend Abby Greentree and tons of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There will never be anyone that could compare to the man he was.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 20th at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 4535 North Main Street, Jacksonville Florida 32206. Visitation will start at 10 am following the services at 11 am.

Eric will never be forgotten and his memories will be held in everyone’s hearts and memories forever he was a Wonderful Son Step Son Dad and Love of his life Abby.
Only Good Celebration of Life is held in everyone’s hearts and carry on the goodness that Eric had for everyone he ever assisted known and unknown.
