Grace Thompson, age 104, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was born in Waycross, Georgia, on December 5, 1920, but lived in Jacksonville, Florida, for most of her life.
Grace, along with her late husband, Harold (Tommy) Thompson, owned and operated Thompson’s Used Furniture of Jacksonville, Florida, for over 60 years. She enjoyed garage sales and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter and her husband, Shirley and Ralph Mosley; 2 grandchildren and their spouses, Harold and Marie Mosley and Diana and Billy Morris; 4 great-grandchildren, Matthew Morris, Sheridan Gaither (Wes), Blake Mosley, and Weston Mosley; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 am on May 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery at 4535 N. Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206 with Graveside services to follow at 11:30 am.
Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to Arlington Baptist Church Summer Youth Group Mission Trip, 6009 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211, in memory of Grace Thompson.

I will miss visiting my friend and bringing her an apple pie. She was an inspiration to everyone that knew her. She will be dearly missed.
