Hollice Robinson

Mr. Hollice Robinson was born on March 25th, 1929 to the late Glenn and Willie Augusta-Simmons Robinson in Lake City, Florida.  He attended local schools of Callahan, Florida and Duval County.  He joined the U.S. Army on November 30th, 1950 and received an honorable discharge in November of 1952.  He was a retired long shoreman.

On November 12th, 1956, he married the love of his life, the late Pearlie M. Way in Kingsland, Georgia.  He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was preceded in death by three brothers; Classius, Elroy, and Arnett, three sisters; Helen, Margaret and Alza Lee.

Hollice leaves to cherish his loving memory, daughter Brenda Baker, grandson Tyrone Stevens; four nephews, Melvin (Brazil), Harold (Manhattan, NY), Reuben Thomas (Bronx, NY) and Ason Bey(Buck City, PA); god-daughter Sherry Johnson-Hendon; cousins, Ida Bennett, Annie M. Bordeaux and Laura Thomas (Callahan, Florida) and other relatives and friends.
