John D Rutledge, 70 of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017
He organized reunions for the Andrew Jackson High School Class of 1965 for many years. He had a lifelong passion for genealogy and kept meticulous records of his familys history. He was the owner operator of many computer businesses.
He is preceded in death by his parents James V. and Mildred C. Rutledge.
Survivors include his companion Linda Roark, daughters Maria Teresa Vaughn, Jennifer C. (Jeff) Brown, Jennifer L. Tosh, sons John C. (Stephanie) Rutledge, and Paul A. Booth. Grandchildren Billy Vaughn, Emily Vaughn, Chandley Manly, Ethan T. Rutledge, Jayde C. Rutledge, Hunter R. Booth, Madison E. Booth, Cade A. Booth, Harper R. Booth, Ethan H. Hey. Brothers James R. (Norma) Rutledge and Charles S. (Linn) Rutledge, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 12:00 Noon Friday July 21, 2017 at Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Tim McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
