Josie first sat in my chair to get her haircut in 2003 and not long after she became like an added family member from God to me. I thank God for her and the lasting impression she has made in my life. I have learned precious and valuable lessons from our time together and she will be greatly missed. God bless you Josie and thank you so much for your friendship. I love you.

My dad, Joe Charlie Joseph (1st cousin of Josie) who hadn’t seen her since she was around 8, myself (who had never met her) and my husband, Gary, first met with Josie in May 2023. It was great to watch both their eyes light up and hear their laughter on the 8-10 times we were able to bring them together before my dad passed in November 2023. Gary and I continued visiting with and getting to know Josie, her long time friends/guardian Angels, Lynn and Tony, her beloved caregivers, of which there were many, and her very special dogs. Josie had strong opinions, was stubborn and complicated but she was a special lady who I am very glad I was able to meet, spend time with and come to love.

Josephine’s kindness to my mother in law , Juliet Joseph will always be remembered. She always kept in touch with Mom & also during her illness , even when Josephine was going through her own sickness. She came to see Mom on her 90 th birthday & brought her kibbee. We had a lovely visit & my family & I appreciated Josephine’s thoughtfulness.
May she Rest In Peace with all the beautiful souls that have passed before her. With prayers, love & sympathy.
Donna ( Joe) Joseph & Family

I found out through Ancestry that I am cousins to Josie and family. I was able to meet my cousin for the first time last year thanks to Teresa and Gary taking me to her house. We had a great connection and a good visit. Rest in piece. 💜🙏
