Judith Crotts Haynes passed away at home with family on Tuesday April 22nd, 2025, at the age of 85. Judith was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 14th, 1939.
Judith took great pride in raising her one daughter, caring for her three grandchildren and spoiling her two great grandchildren. She was exceptionally skilled at painting, baking, cooking and was a captivating story teller. She enjoyed quiet afternoons reading on her porch enjoying nature and a nice cup of coffee. She wasn’t one to miss a lunch and shopping date with a friend either. Judy attended First Baptist Church of Middleburg.
Judith is survived by her brother Kenny, daughter Sandra, son in law Steven, grandchildren Brayndon, Caneon and Meghan, grandson in law Michael and great grandchildren Eliason and Sarilyn.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Freddie, husband Forney, and her sisters Patsy and Suzanne.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12th at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. Visitation will begin in the Funeral Home Chapel located under the bell tower at 10:00 AM and service begins at 10:30 AM. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory – (904) 353-3649.
