LaRue Coker Williams passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice in Palatka with her children present on December 26, 2017.
She was born December 24, 1928 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church and also served as secretary of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville for several years. She retired from the Small Business Administration after many years of service.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Dewey Westfall and Billy Williams.
She is survived by her daughters Marjorie Brent Hartman of Jacksonville, Elizabeth (Robert) Beland of Keystone Heights, son Ernest (Dawn) Boyer of Gainesville, grandchildren Sunshine (Troy) Rauch, Melisa (Sid) Noble, Denai (Ray) Paddock, Matthew Pritchard, great grandchildren Tristan, Tyler, Shekinah, Taylor, Trevor, Ray, Trenton, Jensie, Lexy, and Brett.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday December 29, 2017 at Evergreen Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the chapel at 1:00 PM until service time.
