Leo DeLoach, 98, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away August 10, 2020.
Leo DeLoach was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He served as a deacon of both Main Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church.
He retired from First Federal Savings and Loan as a Vice President over the Mortgage Department and his interests included trips to the Smokey Mountains, fishing and enjoying eating a “mess of shrimp”.
His parents Leo and Matti Belle preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter Donna (Richard) Powell, grand daughter Lauren (Bandon) Hays, great grandchildren Carolina-Tate and Haddon Hays.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Leo’s caregivers Catina Bryant and Carolyn Palmer who exhibited the love of Jesus Christ as they ‘Let their light shine before men in such a way that you could not help but see their good works, and glorify their Father who is in Heaven. (Matthew 5:16)’
In lieu of flowers the family requests you to please make donations to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville Florida or Community Hospice of North Florida.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2020 in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held in Evergreen Chapel at 9:30 AM until service time.
