This is so heartbreaking. Lisa was a dear friend to our family, especially dear to myself and my daughter. I am going to sorely miss her beautiful smile and soft voice. No matter how stressful life got, Lisa always remained calm. As I grieve her loss, I can imagine her calmly telling me, everything will be ok Vanessa, she did this for me every time I needed someone to talk to. Can’t wait to see her again in the resurrection to her hug again and tell her, “its ok, everything is ok now”. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…” Deepest condolences to the family, especially Darryl, Olivia, Novelle, Cynthia and Sonja and her family.
I was so very sad to hear of Lisa’s passing. She was a wonderful person. I will miss her kindness to her colleagues myself included, her love of food and her gift for finding excellent restaurants, her stories about her daughter, her husband, the dog, and the backyard flock (the girls).
As a co-worker, Lisa was a very outgoing person who enjoyed solving problems and helping others. She had a warm smile for everyone in the office.
My deepest sympathies to Olivia, Darryl, her mother, father, and sister of whom she spoke often. May her memory be a blessing.
