Martha O’Neal

Martha O’Neal, 88, peacefully gained her wings on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Born on March 18, 1937, to Lucille Rainey, Martha was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. She worked as an assistant at M.D. Moody & Sons and later devoted herself to caring for elders in the community. She was of the Baptist faith and a devout member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

An active member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Martha served as High Priestess, using her role as a clown at local events to spread joy with her humor and warm smile.

Martha is survived by her son, Keith Williams, four generations of grandchildren, and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother, husband Wallace O’Neal, and her children Freddy and Nannette.

Her loving spirit and the memories we shared will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 2nd at 1:30 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church 2927 Leon Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32246. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. Immediately after the service there will be a motorcade leading to Evergreen Cemetery for burial located at 4535 Main St. Jacksonville, Fl 32206.

    My dearest Martha , I’m gonna miss you so dearly. I know dad was waiting with open arms. He loved you with all his heart. . My Bill and I loved the times we all shared with you and dad at Lunker Lodge, So much laughter and such good memories.. I’m always cherish the Sunday dinners on our Christmas Dillards trip together winning those gift card contest. You are the most beautiful heavenly angel and I know you watch over us all and I love you, Robyn.
