Mary Urban, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on June 12th, 2023, at St. Vincent’s of Clay County Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 81.
Mary was born on August 29th, 1941, in Jacksonville, Florida to Asberry and Martha Miller. Mary was the youngest of 6 children. Her siblings included Eugene, Lamar, Donald, Lorraine, and Evelyn Miller. She married her late husband, John Urban on March 26th, 1971.
Mary enjoyed going out and seeing people in the community, making her own jewelry, crocheting dollies for her tables, and going shopping at Walmart. She also enjoyed getting the family together and having dinner.
Mary is survived by her 4 children: Howard Austin, Scott and Tina Austin, Janet and Richard Pratt and Shelly Miller. Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home, located on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery – (904) 353-3649.
