Maureen Fredricks O’Hara

Maureen Fredricks O’Hara, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones on May 17, 2025.

Maureen was a long time resident of Jacksonville. She was a manger with AT&T for thirty years before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her son Lance Corporal Gregory Daniel Passmore US Marine, her father John Fredricks and mother Theresa Fredricks as well as her two brother Johnny Fredricks and Robert Fredricks. Maureen is survived by her brother Bill, nieces, great nieces and many friends.

Maureen enjoyed flowers, plants, and caring for them. she also loved to cook. The more difficult the recipe the more she enjoyed preparing it. Maureen’s proudest accomplishment was her son Gregory. He was her everything but taken far too soon. But he left her with many happy and funny memories.

A graveside memorial service will be on Friday June 27, 2025 at 10:30 am. Located in Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL. 32206.
