Myers Caroll Jay, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 20th, 2026. He was 76. Myers was born on April 07, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Pressley and Helen (Humphreys) Jay.
Myers Jay is survived by his four children Erica Jay, Chrissy (Jay) Heffner, Mike Jay, Sabrina (Jay) Hartsell and his 3 grandchildren Hunter Hartsell, Nolan Hartsell and Ricky Heffner.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 26th at the Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the time of the funeral service. The Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel is located on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery under the bell tower, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home – (904) 353-3649.
