July 4, 1941 – June 14, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Numeriano Ramos Arevalo, who departed this life on June 14, 2025, just shy of his 84th birthday. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a cherished grandfather, and a beloved great-grandfather.

Numeriano was a man of quiet strength and deep love for his family. His wisdom, humor, and kindness touched all who knew him. He was the steady anchor through life’s storms and the warm heart of every family gathering.

A man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, Noming found joy in fishing—a passion that brought him peace and connection with nature. In his final rest, we find comfort in knowing: 𝓱𝓮’𝓼 𝓰𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰—free from pain and suffering at last.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday June 19th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the Evergreen Funeral Home chapel, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. The chapel area is located at the base of the bell tower on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home – (904) 353-3649.
