Patricia Yvonne King, a resident of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Homegoing services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 1pm at Central Baptist Institutional Church, 524 West 3rd St, Jacksonville, FL 32209, where she was a member for many years. As a child, Patricia grew up on the Eastside of Jacksonville, graduated from Matthew Gilbert High School and was a faithful member of St John’s Baptist Church on Bridier Street. She was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for several years here in Jacksonville.
Patricia, the youngest of ten children, is survived by her siblings, Elvester M. Bennett and Napolean (Lucy) Jones. Eight loving nieces: Wanda (Nathan) DeSue, Felicia (Carlton) King-Fennell, Newport News, VA, Teresa “Michelle” King, Austin, TX, Pamela (Theodore “BoBo”) Carnes, Spring, TX; Rhonda Jones, Coretta Jones, Kimberly Melissa (Dwight “Cheez”) Joseph, and Alisha (Michael) Holloway. Four loving nephews: William “Skeeter” McCoy, Warren (Joyce) Bennett, Wayne Bennett, and Derrick (Andrea) Jones; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family requests that friends assemble at the church at 12:45pm.
