Ralph B. Eaton Jr

Ralph B. Eaton Jr, born on November 15^th, 1935 went home to be with Jesus on February 27^th, 2025 at the age of 89.

A Jacksonville native, Ralph graduated from Andrew Jackson Senior High in 1954 and went on to study Astronomy at Jacksonville University. He had a passion for math and science, and he could never get enough science fiction to keep his satisfied. He loved to roam the woods and camp in his favorite spot while he lived in Lake City and was very active with the Boy Scouts of America.

He married his wife Beverly Ann Marsh in 1961.

Ralph retired from JEA after nearly 30 years of service.

He will always be remembered for his complete dedication to his family, who meant everything to him. Ralph was a very giving person who never hesitated to extend his hand to anyone who needed help. But nothing meant more to him than his faith in the Lord God Almighty and his savior Jesus Christ.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father Ralph Eaton Sr. and his mother Mildred Helen Eaton. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverly, his son Mark and his wife Donna, his son Paul and his fiancé Lynn, brother Walter Eaton, and his sisters Pricilla and Debbie. He was extremely proud of his grandson Matthew and granddaughter Jessica, as well as his great grandchildren Gabriel, Landon and Aubree.

Funeral Service will be Saturday March 8th, 2025 at 10:30 AM in Evergreen Chapel 4535 Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. A visitation will be held in the Chapel for 30 minutes prior to the service start.
