Raymond Lennell Durrence, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 27th, 2024. He was 83. Raymond was born March 15th, 1941, in Valdosta, Georgia, the son of Leonard and Carrie (Thompson) Durrence.
A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, November 12th, at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. Family will begin greeting guests at 11:00.  The chapel is located on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery at the base of the bell tower.  Final interment will be at 2:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206 – (904) 353-3649. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Raymond’s memory to the American Lung Association or K9’s for Warriors, Inc.

Raymond was a kind, friendly, soft spoken husband, father and friend. Always ready to help his sons and friends with anything, especially rebuilding cars and trucks, a man of many abilities.
Raymond made a mark on life, and will be greatly missed.
