Rose Mary Green grew up in church at “Johnson Temple First Born Church where she sang in the church choir. She and Sister Vivian song in an organized gospel group called the “Signing Angels”.  She was one of the lead singers of the group and everyone knew she loved to praise GOD in song. After graduating from Risley High School in Brunswick, GA, she married Robert Davis and had daughter, Miriam Davis, and son Robert Davis. She spent her marriage as a housewife.  After six years of marriage she divorced and met her next love Herman Rawls and had two more children Sabrina Davis and Darrick Davis.  The romance was short lived and ended mutually.  Her career at the time was in education, she worked as a pre-school teacher for the most part of her early adult life. It was around this time she met up with an old dear friend and married Nathaniel P. Green later having their daughter, Rose Renee Green. As a lifelong educator, she found happiness in being a homemaker and as a mother wanting to be a better parent. After the passing of her husband, she was employed and retired by Jax Naval Base located in Jacksonville, FL.  Along the way touching many lives in her daily employment, volunteering events, and raising her grandchildren. Life was good being able to provide support to so many people and family members the love she gave was priceless.

As a woman of faith, Rose wished to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Christ. She would love to be remembered with funny jokes, pranks, or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life.
