Sandra Kay Cook, 67, of Jacksonville went home to the Lord on October 22, 2015. She was born June 13, 1948 to Beatrice Desselberger and Wiley Helton both deceased. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sandra touched many lives as a hairstylist and the team mom for the Lake Forest Gators T-Ball Team. She is survived by husband James Allen Cook (Al) which was the love of her life for 26 years. Children: Son Tony (Angel) McDaniel, Step-son Daryl (Kelly) Burnett, Step-daughter Tina (Dennis) DeGerrald, Brothers: Ronnie (Sharon) Mayfield, David (Kathy) Snell, Perry Helton (deceased) Sisters: Linda (Tim) Sharpe, Patricia (James) Gould, Brother-in-Law John (Linda) Cook, Sister-in-Law Joanne (Mike) Bahl. Grandchildren: Britney and Trever McDaniel, Taylor and Devon Shaffer, Courtney and Tyler Horne, Hannah and Philp Burnett, Many nieces and nephews & Lifetime friends Mary Ames and Linda Smith. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Evergreen Chapel with Reverend Gene Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday October 26th from 5 to 7 PM at Evergreen Chapel.
