Stacee Gayle Davis (Phillips), 63, passed away on September 4, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born on May 20, 1963, Stacee grew up in Florida, graduating from Orange Park High School before continuing her education at Santa Fe College in Gainesville. She made her home in Jacksonville, where she dedicated over 35 years of her life supporting base operations at NAS Mayport and NAS Jacksonville as a transportation and facilities dispatch/service writer. Throughout those decades, Stacee was a steady anchor—always ready to step up, lend a hand, and support anyone in need.
A passionate animal lover, Stacee dearly cherished her companion cats, Buck and Lola, who survive her. She is also survived by her loving mother, Barbara Phillips, and her brother, John M. Phillips Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, John M. Phillips.
Stacee’s kindness, compassion, laughter, and beautiful spirit touched so many lives. She was truly one of a kind, and the world is a little less bright without her in it. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Springfield Kitty Cat Shack Rescue in memory of Stacee Phillips.
Funeral services will be on Friday November 27, 2026 at 11:00AM located at Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main St. Jacksonville, FL. 32206
