Troy Von Faulk, age 54, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully Saturday March 3,2018 after a short but valiant fight against cancer. He was born January 24, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His family moved to Florida when he was a young boy and made Jacksonville his permanent home.
As a man Troy loved to work with his hands and was a great carpenter as well as being very knowledgeable about technology. The majority of his career involved being a Grocery Store Manager for Food Lion and later moved into remodeling homes.
Troy’s great zeal for life was admired by many of his friends all who knew him as being a guy who loved being a jokester and loved to celebrate life. Fishing, going to the beach, grilling out and playing cards with his friends and family was all part of his life.
He is the son of deceased John W. Faulk and Dorothy Ellen Faulk.
He is survived by his two daughters Haleigh D. Faulk and Shelbie A. Faulk, his beloved grand-daughter Skyla Faulk, his five brothers, John W. Faulk, Rodney Faulk, Kenny Faulk, Kevin Faulk, Eric Faulk and his two sisters Tracy Thomas and Stacy Macias.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday March 17, 2018 in Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Tim McDaniel officiating. Gathering time will be in the chapel one hour prior to the service.
