Wynette Nancy Spann, 96, Went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday February 29, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Wynette was born on December 11,1927 in Swainsboro, Ga to Ovie and Julius B Raymond. She married the love of her life, Thomas Spann, moved to Jacksonville, FL and raised 2 wonderful children, Frank B. Spann (Laquita) of Ft. Worth, Tx and Elaine Brown (Jimmy) of Jacksonville, FL.

Wynette was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Spann, parents Ovie and Julius B Raymond, sisters Montez Lawrene Holton, Latrell Oliver Voyles and Betty Finch. She is survived by her son, Frank B. Spann (Laquita), daughter, Elaine Brown (Jimmy), 4 grandchildren, Frankie Spann (Tameko), Shelly Glenney (Chris), Jason Hancock (Amy), and Ashley Collings (Sean). 6 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren, special friends, Hazel Hancock and Janet Peterson – Steen along with many other loving friends and family.

Wynette lived a long fulfilling life. She loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus, serving the Lord, and helping others. She loved traveling, spending time with her family and loving on her cat Lucy Lou. In her later years she enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife that visited her at her home.

Services will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery’s Mausoleum located at 4535 N Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Family & friends are welcome to gather for visitation at 11:30am, With Funeral services commencing immediately after visitation at 12:30pm.

    My sincere sympathy to Elaine, Frank and Family. What a precious lady.!!
    I enjoyed sitting, with her and watching the birds, squirrels, turtles etc with her. I’m so happy our paths crossed and I was able to spend some time with her.
