Charles Warren Tripp of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home in Deerwood on August 28, 2025, after twenty years of courageously battling recurring cancer. He was 47 years old. Charles was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to C. Warren Tripp, Jr. and Cay Tripp. He grew up and lived the majority of his life in Jacksonville, attending Episcopal High School and later establishing a business in the area.
Following high school, Charles attended the University of Florida and remained a lifelong, die-hard Gator fan. On any given Saturday in the fall, one could find Charles watching football and cheering on his team. Charles would say that he “bleeds orange and blue” and may have amassed one of the largest Gator hat collections in Northeast Florida. After college, Charles obtained his real estate license and worked in commercial real estate and residential property management for several years. In 2016, he started his own property management business, Valiant Realty & Management, LLC, where he served as a real estate broker and managed investment properties on behalf of domestic and international clients.
Charles was always quick-witted and loved to make others laugh. He also enjoyed working on his golf game, running in long-sleeved shirts, and trying to perfect the art of voice texting.
Eighteen years ago, Charles met his wife, Jessica, in Jacksonville through mutual friends. They were married in 2012 and together raised their daughter, Kendall (11), in Jacksonville. Jessica and Kendall were the joys of Charles’ life. He was incredibly proud of Kendall and loved watching her grow into the accomplished young person that she is today.
Charles is preceded in death by his father, C. Warren Tripp, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Tripp; daughter, Kendall Tripp; mother, Cay Tripp; sister, Farrell Wilkerson (Brian); brother, Tyler Tripp (Emily); and numerous extended family members who will miss him and his sense of humor very much.
A private family service will be held on October 4, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Evergreen Funeral Home.
